Job Summary:
Nurses Etc. Staffing is currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) for a full-time night shift position in Longview, Texas. In this role, you’ll independently provide both routine and complex care to patients in a dynamic emergency department setting. You’ll demonstrate sound clinical judgment, strong critical thinking, and a deep commitment to patient-centered care.
As a competent nurse within a similar clinical setting, you’ll be expected to manage short- and long-term care goals, support contingency planning, and appropriately delegate tasks to other care providers as needed.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver care aligned with the ANA Scope and Standards of Practice, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.

Respond to complex psychological, emotional, social, and cultural patient needs.

Administer medications and treatments per established protocols; monitor patient response and manage side effects.

Document patient symptoms, care provided, medication administration, and clinical progress.

Provide education to patients and families, identifying needs and connecting them to appropriate resources.

Make appropriate assignments and delegate tasks to maintain optimal clinical workflow.
Qualifications:
Education:
-
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Experience:
-
Minimum of 1 year experience in an Emergency Room or relevant clinical specialty preferred
Certifications:
-
Active RN license in state of employment or compact license

BLS – Basic Life Support (required)

ACLS – Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (required)
-
PALS – Pediatric Advanced Life Support (required)
-
TNCC – Trauma Nursing Core Course (required)
Additional Information:

A new float ED location is set to open in July, approximately 25 miles from existing local facilities. Flexibility to float may be required.
