Nurse Practitioner – Pediatrics
Location: San Antonio, TX.
Are you passionate about providing exceptional pediatric care? We are seeking a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with at least 2 years of pediatric experience to join our team. In this role, you will provide quality, comprehensive outpatient primary health care services to pediatric patients, while collaborating with the supervising physician and following established clinical protocols. You will report to the Lead Pediatrician regarding clinical matters and activities related to the delivery of pediatric medical care.
Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive pediatric primary care services in an outpatient setting
Collaborate with supervising physician and clinical team to ensure quality care
Provide patient and family education on health, wellness, and treatment plans
Adhere to clinical protocols and organizational standards
Participate in ongoing professional development and continuing education
Qualifications:
Master’s Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program (required)
Board Certified (PNCB, AANP, or ANCC) (required)
Current, unrestricted license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner with the Texas Board of Nursing (required)
Registered with DEA and current license (required)
Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association (required)
2+ years of Pediatric Nurse Practitioner experience strongly preferred
Bilingual in English and Spanish highly preferred
Commitment to annual continuing medical education as required by board specialty
